Privacy Policy

PowerPool is the customer-facing product name for a pool match, tournament, and live-score service owned and operated by Sporteq LLC. PowerPool is not a separate legal entity or registered DBA. This policy explains the information we use to operate the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account and profile information such as your name, email address, mobile number, profile photo, home venue, and authentication details. We also store match scores, tournament entries, rankings, venues, invitations, and activity needed to maintain an accurate event history.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, run matches and tournaments, publish scores and player histories, secure scoring access, deliver requested match or registration links, prevent misuse, provide support, and improve PowerPool.

Public and private information

Player names, profile photos, ratings, match results, rankings, venues, schedules, and score histories may be public. Email addresses, mobile numbers, secure invitation tokens, and account credentials are not displayed publicly.

Text messages

PowerPool sends transactional messages only after consent, including match recovery links, scoring invitations, and player-registration links. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel future messages and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. SMS privacy protection: All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties. Messaging providers process delivery data only as necessary to provide the requested PowerPool text service and may not use SMS opt-in data or consent for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use service providers to host and operate PowerPool, including authentication and database infrastructure and Textbelt or Twilio for text-message delivery. They process information only as needed to provide those services and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention and security

We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary for tournament records, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service operations. We use access controls and protected credentials, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update account information from your profile, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and request access to or deletion of your personal information. Some public competition records may be retained to preserve the integrity of tournament and match histories.
