Terms of Service
These terms govern use of PowerPool, the customer-facing product name for a pool match, tournament, and live-score service owned and operated by Sporteq LLC. PowerPool is not a separate legal entity or registered DBA.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information and safeguard your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or a secure scoring link assigned to you. Minors may use PowerPool only with permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized event organizer.
Events and scorekeeping
Event creators control their events. Only authorized players, referees, scorekeepers, and event operators may change official scores or event settings. Spectators may view public information but may not interfere with scoring or administration.
Fair and acceptable use
Do not falsify results, impersonate another person, misuse invitations, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, scrape personal information, send unwanted messages, or use PowerPool for unlawful activity. Venue and tournament operators remain responsible for their events, rules, payouts, and local legal obligations.
Text-message terms
If you opt in, PowerPool may send transactional texts containing match recovery, scoring invitation, or registration links. Message frequency varies according to the matches and events in which you participate. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Email, QR, copy, and share alternatives are available without SMS consent. See the public SMS consent and program description.
User content and public records
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Sporteq LLC permission to host, display, process, and distribute that content as necessary to operate PowerPool. Public scores, rankings, event information, and player histories may remain visible as competition records.
Service availability
PowerPool is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, and temporary interruptions may occur. Event operators should verify critical scores and brackets before awarding prizes or advancing players.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sporteq LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of PowerPool, scorekeeping disputes, event decisions, lost data, or service interruptions.
